New Maps - ask an admin to load

We had a small technical issue yesterday but you should now be able to play six new maps ....ask an admin to load if necessary..

unfortunately we had still problems with new maps.
Ivor discribed the problem ....
It's the well - known "Parsegamestate :Bad command byte" error.
Map was second coming.
Maps to big??? If they allways make trouble - We should delete them.
The local test with the six new maps was succesful, but the online experience on server seems to be total different.

you normally get this error when trying to join a custom map which has been running a few minutes....you will have to wait for a map change and then you will be ok.

If you are on dcoy when this map loads you should be ok..

hello g,

yesterday i realized that another new map makes trouble -
map storm force. I played with other guys and a few players couldn't connect - typical -1 message while loading.
i don't think people had downloads off.
Perhaps we should delete storm force and second coming?

it will come up with an error message if you try to join half way through ...maybe we should take these two out of rotation and only load sparingly...wot u think Diealot...

Btw I renewed server last night for 6 months....

It's probably better to remove the maps with problems out of the rotation.
Maybe you can find some more maps to replace them and hope they don't cause any problems.

Let me know, i'll remove the maps storm force and 2nd coming from the rotation.

G can you restart the server when it is empty?

maps out of the rotation? - Good!
I tested a lot of other maps - Perhaps 2-3 small maps like rust we need instead?
The problem is that i can't reproduce the "bad command byte" error in my test range.
I hop it's not to much work to integrate new maps Dialot.

Not a problem Kalter,
Mail them to me and I'll test them a bit, and see if it gives any errors.
It is the combination of the map,mod and players(more than 8 ) that cause this error.
